wwdiary - version 3.2.2 posted to Android Market

Experimental barcode support!

You will be asked to allow permission for internet access for this feature.
SDcard access is for database backup feature.

Also, for the barcode reader to work, you will need to install another application that handles the reading.   You can find out more information about the barcode reading application here.

I expect to add more features to this in the future.  For instance, when you scan a 2 pack of General Mills Cheerios Twin pack, you get "GM CHERRIOS TWIN PACK" and you might just want to enter "Cherrios", so there's still work to do to let you customize the text after you scan ( and save that customization for when you scan again ).

  6. Try 3.2.5.

If you don't see the update on the market, try searching for "pub:canofsleep" without the quotes.

  8. I'll be adding features as time goes on. I'm currently looking for a source of nutrition information that I can access free of charge where I won't be breaking any terms of service.

  10. is there an app (or does this one) provide the points value that is listed in the A-Z food list? It would be nice not to have to refer to that. Thanks! (for things that do not have nutritional info - fruit, etc.) Thanks!

  11. @Bubba: I've looked there, there isn't a very good programming interface there. It looks like they use the government's food db anyway.

@simonesnina: Currently there is no food list where you can look up foods. The app will build your own personal food list, as it remembers everything you ate.

  12. It would be really helpful if I could enter a food item but leave the points box blank. That way, when I am out and don't know the points value of an item I'm eating, I can still record that I ate it (so I don't forget) and go back later to add the points value. Currently, if you leave the points value blank, the entry is erased. I don't want to make up a value because then that value is stored and resurfaces each time I enter or select the same food entry. Thanks!!!
